In a UK-first, First Mailing now offers variable inline colour inkjet printing onto paper-wrap.
Inline printing is ideally suited to last-minute, small areas of print, such as logos, straplines and special offers. The ability to print these areas of print in full colour saves time as it negates the need to pre-print the paper wrap offline which can add a couple of days in the production of branded packaging.
First Mailing launched its paper wrapping capability during 2021. Paper wrapping is a highly cost-effective and eco-friendly method of packing, similar to poly wrapping, without the plastic! The wrapping offers an external advertising space for the products contained within the pack meaning customers can deliver their messaging before the recipient even opens their pack.
The inline printing capability can be used instead of, or in conjunction with, the full pack printing offered with paper wrapping.
