First Mailing has invested in an additional Buhrs machine, delivering increased capacity for envelope inserting. The new machine will join the two existing Buhrs machines which were installed in July 2022.
With running speeds of up to 10,000 per hour, the additional machine will enable us to deliver even faster turnaround times.
The investment will also ensure continuity in production as two of the machines will be dedicated to C5-sized envelopes, while the third machine will handle all C4-sized envelopes. The benefit of this is greatly reduced set-up times and, of course, increased capacity.

The Buhrs machines sit alongside existing envelope inserting machines. Together, they offer a choice of envelopes made from various paper weights, sizes and colours, with or without a window. The envelopes can also be inkjet addressed, or full-colour printed.
