firstMailing is delighted to celebrate a remarkable success with The Triangle Trust a medical charity celebrating its 25th year.
We were contacted by the Chairman of the Appeals Committee Peter Callaghan from The Triangle Trust about a potential campaign they wanted to mail. Peter found the firstMailing website and gave us a call to find out more about how firstMailing could help with a campaign. After a lengthy conversation with Leanne Carmedy, General Manager, Peter was more than happy with the confidence he had with Leanne and recommended firstMailing to the Trustees and Committee. The rest is history for firstMailing and The Triangle Trust, their campaign was an enormous success with the help of firstMailing.
“As Chairman of our Appeals Committee I wanted to find a mailing house, so I resorted to the internet and I came across firstMailing. With a rocky start, not being able to get hold of anyone as it was 5:30 pm, I got through to Leanne Carmedy who was more than happy to help me. Throughout the entire process of the campaign, Leanne’s service has been nothing but exemplary.
Our aims were to attract income from the patients and use Gift Aid for the first time and the best way to get people’s attention would be to use Direct Mail. By sending out 2,036 mailings in December, a further 540 in January and then re-sending a further update to all 2,576 patients in April, we knew this could prove costly. However, we also knew we had to speculate to accumulate.
To date we have invested £4,454 into the campaigns, hoping it would be successful, however we got more than any of us expected. Our return on costs is now 600%, our response rate stands at 10% and to date, we have raised just over £27,550!
So, to anyone who is thinking of running a marketing campaign, I highly recommend firstMailing, without doubt, they are the experts and are always there to help at every stage of the campaign.”
