Karl Sangster, Print and Data Processing Manager at firstMailing in Huntingdon is answering questions on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that is on its way next year.

What is GDPR?

It’s a strict set of new legal regulations designed to avoid data breaches and reinforce the Data Protection Act and you will need to comply. The UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect the commencement of GDPR.

What does this mean for your business?

If you hold, maintain or process any personal or sensitive data you have to ensure this data isn’t breached by misuse, loss or unauthorised 3rd party access.
