Huntingdon Installs 4th Polywrapping Line

Due to high demand we have taken the decision to invest in a new STS polywrapping line to increase our capacity.

Across the firstMailing group we now wholly own 7 polywrapping lines consisting of 4 Sitma Lines, 2 STS lines & 1 Norpak line. We are lucky enough to have an amazing team of machine operators that have great expertise in all 3 makes of machines. These polywrapping lines have very similar capabilities but the advantages of having the different machines provides us with flexibility of what quantities, onserts & sizes of packs we can handle. Each line is capable of wrapping speeds of 4000 – 12000 packs per hour. We don’t hesitate to fulfil the smaller quantities or those in the hundreds of thousands all of which we can handle with ease.

The existing lines and the new line all have online inkjet facilities which is ideal for inkjet address personalising at high speed onto the back cover of brochures or directly onto the polythene including basic graphical content.

We foresee our next investment being the upgrade of some of this inkjet equipment to enhance our capabilities of barcode printing.

So watch this space….

If you have any questions about our polywrapping capabilities please do not hesitate to contact our
